Mechanical Equipment Infrared Inspections

Southwest Thermal Solutions inspects your motors, shafts, bearings, ovens, boilers, and any moving part. Most mechanical failures are a result of (HEAT) friction. Friction is indicated by an increase in temperature that thermal imaging can easily spot far before failure occurs.

Infrared inspections are used to perform P/PM inspections on your mechanical equipment to locate excess heat or friction. Before a mechanical component fails, it heats up. Non-destructive infrared testing is used to see the heat (hot spot), so that central plant engineers can act to correct the problem before your system fails and causes damage to the component, or production downtime.

Why Southwest Thermal Solutions?

As a leading provider of certified infrared services in the field of mechanical equipment non-destructive infrared testing.
  1. Experience. Southwest Thermal Solutions has performed certified infrared services on mechanical equipment of all sizes and shapes. We have refined our infrared techniques so we don't over-report or under-report your problems.
  2. State-of-the-Art Equipment. We use high-resolution thermal cameras and digital recording equipment so that we are not limited by equipment.
  3. Report Product. Our deliverable product is the best on the market today. Hard copy and/or digital report consists of:
    • Bound report notebook with data log (a list of items inspected), thermographic reports of anomalies, summary of findings, recap and repair guide listings.
