Air Barrier Testing provides a more detailed analysis of your building with the use of a blower door. This test is used to find air leakage in your building, by quantitatively measuring air changes per hour. The blower door fan pulls air out of the building, lowering the air pressure inside (depressurize). The higher outside air pressure then flows in through all unsealed cracks and openings, so the air-infiltration locations are documented.
When unconditioned outside air enters your building, or conditioned air leaks out, increases the expense to heat or cool that extra air replacement.
